people don't even read the lessons that come with flash before submitting their shit... so why bother?????

I know... that's the reason I made one and put it on NG. That way, they get a second chance to learn how to do Flash befroe they submit anything.

How did this get into the Top 50 of all time.. someone please hit me with a rock.

This is an AVI.. not Flash. Flash is supposed to be about VECTOR BASED drawings.. all you did was take a bunch of bitmaps and import them.. tack on some sound and your done..
no where NEAR the effort put into most of the top 50 movies..
why do you keep submitting them? learn to draw dude.

this is only your opinion.
whith vector based drawings u have the best results, in fact of filesize and enlargement, but AN SWF IS AN SWF also called FLASH FILE!
here u can see INTERACTIVITY: try to do it in AVI, IDIOT U ARE!

The only thing Flash about this..

is the fact that you using it for image compression(which there are better formats for this anyway) and again it should be an mpeg or an avi..

Flash is you know, supposed to be about Vector based drawing with the side addition of being able to import images into it. I for one do not care to see slideshows. No offense.

No people this does not take alot of effort.

Anyone can buy a digital camera,some clay, take a bunch of pictures, and delete they shots they don't want. It does not take NEAR as much effort as hand drawing many images.

Trust me, importing images is one of the EASIEST things to do, because as long as you order them in succession image1,image2,image3,image4.. flash will just ask you if you want to import the whole group and it will even put them into nice neat frame by frame for you...

So this gets a usual 1.. sad that even got on the top 50 really.

after this, i can understand the meanin, but i disagree.
NG is a place where submit FUNNY flash. this is funny.
importing images is not easy as u think. is easy if u dont care about filesize, but check this filesize: 438k! i've had a hard time whith photoshop... flash is not bitmap-friendly.
BTW i've seen your movie 'blue baby' and i reted it 4 BUT NOT YOUR FOR ANIMATION... jut cuz was funny. but dont tell me about animation, cuz your is very very poor.......... and i'm sure i've spent a lot more time in my movie thath you in yours.

The one is because you did not have any real animation.

It really doesn't take alot of work to use a digital camera to take action shots, move your figure then take more when your hand is gone.

This probably one of the easiest things to do with the least amount of effort..
at least you drew "flash blood in" but that wasn't even taht great.

It takes a hell of a lot more work to actually draw something and animate it..

That's why I am giving this a low score.
This would be better off as an AVI.. not a flash Movie.. sheesh.

dont warry if u dont like, but not bullshit please. this, in avi, was 2Mb.
reapeated frames in avi wheights.
there IS a sense if i do this in flash...
and about the easiestness of clay.. try u and let me see...

Hmm.. Every time I watch one of these Claymation movies.. it bothers me.. Don't ask me why.. I mean they are cool and all its just and obviously SOME effort went into them... I dunno.. it feels like I am just watching a slide show.
Wait.. I AM JUST watching a slide show... no real Flash animation.. just a bunch of camera shots taken..

I feel cheated somehow :P

Its like posting an MPEG in Flash format or something.. I would give a higher rating to someone who used a program like poser and stuck it into flash.. over someone who used clay.. clay is pretty easy to manipulate and using photoshop just taking out the "movie clips" you don't want is REALLY easy.

we took the pictures with a digital camera and loaded alllllll of them onto the computer, and loaded them alllllll into flash, and put everything in a right order, and it was harder than you'd think

Hmm..

Good for a first effort... Try to work on your motion tweening for the "death scenes" ... the default flash "Morph" is kinda overplayed and it looks the same.. you are better off reversing the exploding body parts and "recombining" your figures that way.. also what do the scenes mean when we see the hanging figure, the knife cutting the arm?

Well Svn11, the meaning of the knife cutting the arm, the hang man, the guy on the bed and the guy shooting is this... he is seeing the people dieing around. He wants to save them but he can only save one. He is just having mind flashes.

I'll be fair.. this was pretty well put together.. but I did notice whenever you drew your own animation it sucked.. work on your hand drawns better..

yeah i know the cartoon people suck. i made this movie in like an hour, if that. i am capable of making better, more fluent animation, but for this project i chose not to do so and instead finished it very quickly.

hey thanx seveneleven, it was my first flash, my second episode is much better and the third is a minute long at 512 k so far, so itll be more graphically intense.
